College Prep Day with the New York Mets

To help high school students across the New York City area prepare for the admissions process, the New York Mets partnered with ACT and Kaplan Test Prep for College Prep Day on Thursday, May 2 at Citi Field.

As part of College Prep Day, experts from ACT and Kaplan offered guidance for college applicants navigating the admissions process. Students were able to enjoy video spots featuring Mets players describing their college experiences.

Following the informative program, the event continued with exhibitors on the Mets’ Field Level Concourse, where students could meet with admissions advisors who answered questions and provided information about their colleges and universities. Students also had the opportunity to talk to the ACT team.

All students received a free promotional code for ACT® Rapid Review™ - All Access (a suite of test prep resources jointly delivered by ACT and Kaplan), and a number of students had the opportunity to secure a scholarship for a test prep course and a fee waiver to take the ACT test

The students concluded their day at the ballpark with a game between the Mets and the Cincinnati Reds.

Thank you to all the students, Kaplan and the New York Mets who came out to support the incredible event. Together, we help more people achieve education and workplace success.
